Tadeusz Kantor - The Sea Concert (1967)

A conductor stands on a podium in the water with his back to the beach and conducts the expanse of the sea. The "wave symphony" is supplemented by a "motorbike fugue": at a sign from the conductor, five motorbikes tear along the beach half submerged in the water. At a further sign from his right hand a spluttering tractor approaches. The conductor fires off a shot from a signal pistol, whereupon a lifeboat with a screaming siren appears on the horizon. In the finale he throws a big bucket of dead fish in the direction of the public and takes off his tailcoat.
